Let's see if i got it right: You're boycotting this 10 MONTHS president, who inherited the greatest shitstorm since the days of FDR?
This president who's multi-tasking between dozens of crazy issues?
This president who spent his entire political capital fighting for health care reform that no one could achieve in decades?
This president who completely transformed US image in the world in less than 10 months?
This president who actually prevented a real economic catastrophe?
This president whose face we see with Hitler mustache every day?
This president who gets more death threats than any president in history?
This president who is so brave, that despite all the threats and the hate, he gives 9/11 terrorists a civil trial - something all you righteous were crying for since his first day in office.
This president, who inherited two fucked-up wars, who's quietly leaving Iraq and is tortured looking for some kind of a reasonable end in Afghanistan?
I can go on and on, but honestly, i'm too disgusted. Yes, get rid of all the fake Democrats in congress, don't give them a cent, send them to hell. Don't donate to OFA either, no one is forcing you - But declaring a public boycott on this president' army of volunteers, because after 10 crazy months he is still yet to fulfill whatever campaign promise you want him to? To undermine him like that? NOW? when the health care fight reaches its climax, on a week that was clearly enormously heavy on the president YOU voted for only a year ago, and needs support more than ever - How childish and spoiled and selfish can you be?
Not that I don't at times agree with AMERICAblog...but do we want to go back to what we had before? A lot of the difficulty we've had getting gay positive legislation passed is because of the strength the right wing nutcases had been given over the past 8 years. Do we want that again? At least ENDA and the end of DOMA and the end of Don't Ask Don't Tell ARE actually now being discussed...

I don't really think the only choices are to put up with Obama's crap or go back to the Bush era. The corporate media work daily to try to limit our imaginations and make us feel utterly helpless. We should not let them win.
I get real mad when the people who elected Obama don't give him their support through the immense difficulties he has to deal with just because he hasn't yet taken care of their pet issue. Give him time and support for god's sake; he is doing his best.
