“State government can and should continue to demonstrate leadership in reducing avoidable highway dangers,” Beshear said at a news conference at the Transportation Cabinet. “The risks are too high and the statistics are too staggering for the commonwealth of Kentucky to remain ambivalent about this issue any longer.”

We have a law here in Canada, that bans being on a cell phone while driving, not unless it is a hands free device. I still see people driving while talking. It is very annoying and banning cell phone while driving is an unenforceable law. I totally think that driving and texting or being on a cell phone is completely dangerous.
