OK: I still love Matt Smith as the Doctor (because bowties are cool!) but I've fallen for David Tennant, and thus, prefer him to Matt. (Sorry, Matt: you can still whisk me off to Europe and marry me!)
David is brilliant, and not just because we share a name. He fully owned the character, I think in a way no one had before him and fearfully may not after him.
It probably also helps that thanks to my pseudo-Christian upbrining - pseudo because we only went to church on Mother's Day to please my Grandmother - I've always had a thing for guys named David. My name is Jonathan afterall. :)
