Lady Gaga's Born This Way video is, at upon first review, 2001: A Space Odyssey meets the Bible meets I'm A Slave 4 You's sauna orgy meets the (disturbing) crowning scene in Knocked Up. And I'm going to need a minimum of 16 more views before I begin to understand everything that's happening here, particularly Gaga's gooey-ooey galacticly kaleidoscopic placenta.

Does the woman not have an original thought in her head? Using Bernard Hermann's iconic music to "Vertigo" as her opening with a flat FLAT reading of some silly semi-neuromancer crap is tedious. And the song sounds like a dozen others I've heard. No wonder she can claim she wrote it in just 10 minutes; all she did was cut and paste.
Kyle, I like it. :P
Though on further thought, I must admit that there hasn't been an original thought of any kind since probably the 1950s.
Nowadays everything is rehashed but what makes it new is each person's individual point of view.
