I'm Sorry

Hello, my friends. After talking some with quite a few folks, I decided to not delete the blog...because honestly, I need you guys now more than ever.

So bear with me, and we'll eventually get hopping.

(And if you also follow the blog Exploding Doughnuts you might drop in on him too.

Though I'm terrified that I'm making a mistake (well several...boy has 2012 been the year/month/couple of weeks for mistakes), I've decided that Dean and I should simply be friends, and we are both hurting.

Take care.

I'm sorry to hear about your break-up. Always tough news. On a brighter note, I'm glad you're continuing the blog. I always search here for adds to my "to read" list--and I'd miss your recommendations terribly if they disappeared!

You do not need to apologize to anyone.

"No man is an island" and "people who need people" and all that.

But we are better off for having you and your thoughts and your humor, than not having you.

That's kitschy, maybe. But it is still true.

So has this been an all time break up, or is there hope for the future? I understand you're both probably at places in your life right now that may make it complicated, but who knows what the future holds. I hope lots of happiness for the both of you; however you may find it!

I was disappointed when I thought you were quitting. Glad you're gonna give it another go.

Glad you're back, dude!

We announced your return on one of my blogs, a "public service" blog, and was wondering if you would consider adding us to your bloglist.

Thanks for your consideration, and welcome back!

JP, sorry I haven't been around to console.

Please don't think of giving up the blog. Use it as a place to vent and share. Keep it simple. No rules, no commitments, no expectations. I'd really miss you if you disappeared. I think many others would too.

It is heartbreaking to hear about you and Dean. Without being there, and without knowing both of you very well, it is hard to give good advice in this arena. I respect both of you and have hoped for the best, but if one or both of you think it is time to back off and become friends, then I honor that decision.

We love you. Be well.

I apologize for being a bad blog friend and taking so long to leave a comment here, but I have been reading and keeping track in the background. As you once said to me, your blog friends are always here for your support. I have found these zeroes and ones more life-changing and fulfilling in the past year than I will ever be able to say out loud, and here is to hoping you do, too.

I am glad you're still here. Be well and kind to yourself.

Oh! That's sweet of you to say, shakes! I will try to be better about book recommendations. I've been slacking quite a bit. :)
