Of course it's still hard to come out. And, yet, now the LGBTQ community is giving Joel Grey huge grief for waiting "so long."We all must choose our own time, our own way. Bias and bigotry are still alive and kicking; sad commentary on our society though it is. Our fear of being "different" and suffering because of it is part of our self-preservation instinct. Therefore, we view announcing our "difference" as a possible danger, so we must weigh the risks involved. And we still approach it with trepidation.
