This is How I Thought It Would Be

Election results from Kentucky (via Kentucky.com). And it's pretty much turning out how I thought it would be.

At the last minute I decided to vote a straight Democratic ticket but originally I was going to vote for the Republican running for Agriculture Commissioner. I know. Me voting for a Republican but for starters it's for Agriculture Commissioner and for enders the Democrat Bob Farmer was a comedian in the 80s/90s whose standup shtick pissed me off. Sure. I say horrible things about Kentucky and Kentuckians but I'm very unlikely to run for office and ask those Kentuckians for votes.

There have been some excellent surprises to wake up to today.

I will not vote for a Republican. So I voted straight Democrat, but only because even though there's a space for Green on my NY ballot, no one ran. Hmmmm...........

Definitely, tamayn. It was nice to see that many people (read "Democrats") are fed up with the bullshit.

Kyle, have you seen old ballots from the 20s and 30s? There used to be people running in both the Communist and Socialist parties back in the day. Most people don't know that. They just assume it's always been (mostly) Democrat and Repub.
